I would love to change/ update my 98 Expy to that of a 99 - up Expy. Actually I only want to change the front grille assembly and bumper. Does anyone know if this is possible???

I am almost positive that you can. I wish you would of asked earlier because I sold two of them. I asked the dealer if you can purchase just the center honeycome, and they said no. So I would check with recking yards or ask around when you see a 99 on up with a custom grill, what they did with the old one they cut out. That's what I had to do, with out damaging it. Good luck.

EDIT:

I read your post again and realized that you want to change the whole bumper also. I have heard of this being done, even a Lightning bumper will fit, but you will have to buy some hardware to make it fit. f150world.com has somebody that has done the lightning trick on there X and he said that it's easier on 99 and up due to the hardware already there.
