2wd Expedition lift plans- Opinions?
Newbie here... I may be getting a '98 Expedition 2wd that I would like to modify for low-key offroading and for looks. It will be a daily driver and tow rig for a Jeep. My plan so far is to install a 1.5" front coil spacer and a 2 or 3 inch rear coil spacer. (I understand that I will need the camber correction kit) Is there a problem with running that large of a spacer in the rear? Does it effect the rear geometry (control arms etc.) much? Not sure on what to do with shocks.
Perhaps also a 3" body lift as so many people here have had good luck with them. I guess my target tire will be a 285/75R16 (on stock wheels). I am curious of what size you feel I could install, but will probably stick with this as I don't want to re-gear right away.
I am also interested in the no-slip locker if it ever becomes available, there aren't any other choices are there? I guess that about covers it, let me know your opinions-
Did I mention that I am pretty cheap?
