Smile New to the Board

Hello,
I just recently bought a Black/tan 1998 Expedition EB. It is mostly for my wife as I had to sell my 1999 Ford Contour SVT to afford it . Anyways, I just thought that I'd introduce myself as I will probably be asking questions from time to time, but I am quite mechanically inclined so they won't likely be stupid ones

I just changed my spark plugs as the truck was at 100,000 kms and needed it done - took me 3 hours to due and was murder on my hands. Curse those engineers!!!

Anyways - you'll be seeing me around

Dave

Question

Any tips on changing the plugs. What plug did you use for replacement plugs?

LOL! The best tip that I can give is a lot of patience, a good step stool, a bent/flex head ratchet with extensions and a good memory as you will be unhooking a lot of wires/hoses. I even had to lift the fuel injection rail off the driver's side bank just to get at the 3rd plug

I picked up some Bosch Platinum +4's #4459 at Walmart and they seem to be working fine.
