I am about to buy 4 7" widescreen TV's for my headrest and a DVD/MP3/CD player to hook up to them.
i am going to slap that in the stock headunit place and sell my stock 6 disc changer and head unit.

now i want tv's up front. anyone have any pics of tvs in their ride?
how much would it cost to have the airbag taken out and put a TV in the Steering wheel. i saw where Ludacris had it done to his ride.
also what about that spot on the front console where there is just a big square with nothing in it (except for cds, junk, and change in my case) would a TV fit in there?

 

Don't have any pics, but for the right price anything can be done. The steering wheel one also. You can fit one in the console, use one for your review mirror (fix mounted, flip down, rear view mirror with the monitor built into the glass etc..) and have a switch togo from rearview, tv-DVD etc, visor mounts............................Any custom audio shop should be able to wipp any of the above off for ya..

 

Well Steven I have a total of 4 MONITORS in my Expedition. One in either Headrests, one in the front pocket and lastly I have the Alpine IVA-C800 In dash control unit. Here are some photos...

Also I would not dare remove my air bag so I could have a MONITOR in there. What about accidents? Your horn? Safety????

do you have a cover for any of them? what about theft protection?

 

98, use thumb buttons for horn, for safety, it's like switching to a Billet wheel etc......some don't sweet it. Floss the phatest gear in unusually spots, the ew-ah factor. If one wants to shell out the greenbacks I'd mount a monitor anywhere you want.

HotVic: as for theft, you hope for the best, or your a big dog and nobody messes with your &^^%.

one of my friends has a White Diamond Escalde EXT on some 23 inch wheels and a flip out LCD w/DVD in the Dash.

his cousin went to the mall the other day with us. he has a new burgandy denali with some 20 inch NICHE wheels.
we took op about 8 parking spots between the 3 of us.

ill try and get some pics and put em on here.
i know they are not ford but they are nice.

also a rap group lives right around the corner from me and just about anytime you go by there will be 10-20 Lexus', mercedes' and caddys all on 20's and 22's lining the street. its a real sight to see.

 

seriously though. about how much am i looking at to install these things.
i think i am just going to put 2 in the middle. DRiver and passenger headrest. and one in the front console.

how much does an install on this usually run???

 

I am changing my audio/video for about the 20th time, I am waiting on the New Clarion VRX925VD (Available March sometime, dieing for beats and video, my kids are getting crazy too) it has everything built in, 6 ch built in, DVD, MP3, etc, just got the Kenwood DIN size center channel in today, gotta get the Sirius radio when available, got (4) 13.3 in flip downs to put in (can't have the kids squinting at the monitors :>) ), new subs and amp etc......awaiting my new nose also, stay tuned for pics. Put the In.Pro smoked taillights on, I'm getting the shakes like a crackhead needing a fix to get some new stuff.............

Check out the Clarion, retail on the unit is even SWEET!!!!!!! $1499.00 and who's pays retail?

 

For the cats who are not into flip out monitors, check out the DXZ925, also has 6ch, 2 AUX in, etc......

i am getting ready to sell mine.
i wanted to get rid of them as soon as they were put on.
they look bad@$$ on my navi but i think i need 22's to 23's.

if i dont get the TV's done ill just buy 3-4 12" subs and some bigger wheels.

APC just released the EUROTEC lights.

i am getting the ones for the Expy and now they make the 2 lights for the navi liftgate.
they look great.

i cant wait till mine come in.

I switched from the Nav tails to the In.Pro smoked ones bec I'm not really into the import look and these are not too bad, plus they are DOT approved.

 

As far as the theft issue is concerned I am not worried. I never go places that I am not familiar with, also most can not even see the monitor being that I have limo tint, and a CRAAAZZZY alarm system.

Yet and still if you want to add one in the steering wheel, u might as well put one in the sun visors as well. Just be careful not to make your Navi tacky.

Also, if you've got the dollars do it! It's your ride!

I saw/ recorded that episode of cribs myself, and the monitor in the trunk was in my opinion not necessary, yet he is'nt called LUDACRIS 4 nothing. The man's cool though!

i think i may be selling the TV's.

i want bigger wheels and i dont want to invest $5000 in an audio system.
it is pointless.
im thinking about going to 23's.

the only reason i was getting the TV's is because my friends wanted them for when we go to Panama on spring break.
not sure though. i do want them.
it may take a few days to decide for sure.

 

Ludacris has got some good muzic, love the bass, I think your gator would look sweet as hell with some bigger dubz! As those don't look TOO bad, keep us posted on what your gettin! Lataz
