Question Electronic Compass Problem

I have a 99 EB Expedition and the compass reading is completey reversed. I have tried to follow the directions in the book, but cannot get a "zone" setting and the CAL setting seems to make no difference.

I've seen mention of this on a "Google" search, but have found no answers as of yet. Anyone know a special trick or is this just the way it is?

Thanks in advance! I apologize if this question has been asked before, I am new to this board.

Its a bad sensor, mine did exactly the same, fortunately for me, when my 99 EB was less than a year old and under the warrentee. The dealer knew exactly and immediately what had gone wrong, the 180 off was the clue. Didn't take them long to swap it out, its been fine for over two years now.

You prefer driving backwards anyway, don't you?
