4:10 Gears in a Navi,,, should I?

I've been pondering the same thing with my Expy, but do I really want to spend ~$1,000 for new gears???
I went from 30" tires to 33" tires and now my rearend ratio is like 3.01 (from 3.31). Needless to say, I have lost tons of low-end torque and not gained any gas mileage. I contacted several gear manufacturers/shops and they all recommended a swap to 4.10's which would make my effective ratio around 3.80. Yes, you have to swap both front and rear if you plan on using the 4wd.
How tall are your tires? What is the factory ratio?

Steven, What is your present axle ratio? I don't think your new rims & tires (275/55-20's = 31.9" while 305/40-22's=31.5" for example) are any taller then the OEM wheels and tires (275/70-17's = 31.75") Unless your "stock" ratios are 3.31, spending something like $1000 cash to get both front & rear gears changed won't do much, even then your highway mileage wounld suffer (if you now turn 1900 revs @ 70 mph you would then be turning more like 2100 rpm)
Like a previous post said check into a supercharger for REAL go, it will also give you more to SHOW when you pop the hood.
