Anyone know where the amp(s) is?
A friend of mine has an Expy with the 8 speaker MACH stock system in it. He would like to upgrade the speakers/amp(s). Obviously the speakers are no problem; but, the fact that there are eight including subs, leads me to believe there has to be an amp(s) somwhere in that beast. Anyone know where before we start pulling it apart?

I believe your buddy is going to .........
have no problem upgrading the sub and purchasing a amp to run that alone.
As for the rest of the system, I'm almost certain he is going to need to replace the head unit, in order to run other after market amp(s).
And, when he does that, he is going to need a new cdchanger(which could be cool because you can get a 6disk DVD changer) if he has one.
The one I'm not sure about is the VCR. I have been lead to believe it may still be functional, the sole remaining OEM part of the audio/video system.
