I own a 98 4.6 with a factory mounted hitch and cooler, etc.. I do a bit of towing and am curious as to the axel ratio (per the dealer I am ok up to 6,500 lbs- 'but don't go driving that across the country to California'- I was in Upstate NY) but again am curious as to the type of axel. Looked underneath and there is a tag but cannot decipher the data any thoughts?

The drivers seat isn't so soft anymore (blame it on the previous owner) thoughts on a replacement adjustable seat...boneyard, online somewhere-ebay..dealer..?

There should be a sticker in the driver's door jamb with a lot of codes. There is a two position code under the word 'Axle'.
Maybe if you post what that is someone could help.

If you are patient someone will wreck with your color interior.
(Just hope it isn't the same guy that used to own yours)
