Best Expedition mods....?
Just got a 98 Expedition,wondering what mods. are workin out the best??Thinking of a little bigger tires 285-295 series ,does anyone know how to re-program the computer w/o having to go to the dealer to compensate for these??Wondering if anyone has tried to stiffen or replace rear sway bar to tighten handling up??Anyone tried an adjustable fuel reg. and advancing the timing ...??Chips,K&N kits,exhaust..etc?? Mods
Put 295/45/18's on it, lower it 2" with the BelTech kit and nitro active shocks, upgrade the sway bar bushings in the front, replace the rear sway with a larger unit and find a nice curvey road and have fun!
The exhaust upgrade is good to give a bit more performance and make it sound better. A shift kit is also a must in my book as the factory settings are real mushy.
100 shot of nitrous and 3.73 gears are next.
