Question Gear Lube???

I have a 97 EXPY 5.4 4x4,I am planning on changing out the front & rear dif. gear lube but I am unable to find out which weight to use for the front. The rear calls for 75w140 full synthetic is this also correct for the front???? also any ideas on which brand or brands to use? So far the only 75w140 full synthetic I have found has been motorcraft at the dealer and there asking $18.00 a quart, seems kind of high.Any ideas or suggestions?????and what about using any additives,I have over 100,000 would this be a good idea

Your axles both take 75w-140. I can get you Amsoil Series 2000 75w-140 for $12.05 a quart + shipping and taxes. Typically, additives are not needed.
