i just bought a 1998 expedition, i want to change the front bumper cover but i cant find any place that sells one will the one for the f-150 fit? what other apperance mods are aviable for the expedition?

Has anyone tried the stylinconcepts bumper covers? How do the look? And did you have them painted before or after installation to match your body color? And how easy are they to install?

My front bumper looks like hell after a couple of years of driving in NYC.

Definitely get the bumper cover painted before putting it on. I don't know about an Expedition, but my Navigator factory bumper cover was very easy to take on and off. I would do a test fit before painting it though.

I have a '99 Expy with the Street Scenes Gen II (also called the Stillen Storm) front valance. It fits inplace of the stock plastic valance that is underneath the chrome metal bumper. It was easy to install. I will point out that my tires (275-65/17 with 17x8 rims) does rub alittle in reverse and turning to either side. It looks great.

If finances permit, and if you like the look, take the time to convert the front end to that of the 99+




Not to mention adding the Stillen Storm Valance, believe me it's a HUGE improvement, not to mention a single days' work.

Yet and still check ebay for front bumper covers.
