The passenger's side view mirror will rotate down when placing the truck in reverse but when I place the truck in drive the mirror does not return to the correct position. Has anyone else experienced this same issue with their new 2003 Exp. A service manager at one dealership said it was a known computer defect in the 2003s and that Ford expected a fix to come out in the 3rd quarter of 2003. Has anyone else heard this?

Sorry, can't help with the question but that is interesting. I didn't know the Expy did that. I recently drove a friends new BMW X5 and it did it; I was impressed thinking it was "special".
