One of the guys I work with has a 01 SD with the 5.4. He says his wife wouldn't let him get the bigger motor and now he struggles pulling the horse trailer.

I got my 6.0 F250cc and the first words out of his mouth was that I got the right motor for it, followed by, "I hate you!"

At least go with the V-10. You won't regret it.
