Hi OldTimer

I just got home from a 600 mile trip towing almost 9K and it was a DREAM. I only had that minor problem at 270 miles and it has been perfect ever since and the only thing I did was reset the computer. (knock on wood)

My mileage has been right about 20mpg empty and 11mpg towing, but that should improve with more break in time.
I got the diesel just in time for gas prices to go through the roof so Im pretty happy there too. Diesel in my area is about $1.89 which is a good .20 cent lower than regular unleaded and Way below premium which is what I used in the 5.4 due to the superchips. So better mpg, lower fuel costs AND Huge power! WOo Hoo!

So, to sum it up, This is a Dream truck for me. I had a very hard time justifying the rediculous price tag, but after driving this thing, I see why people buy them

btw, Thanks for asking

Sounds like a great ride, its about time mileage wise to replace my 01. I have yet to drive the new 6.0 and cant decide If I want to give another year for the bugs to be ironed out or just go ahead and get one while my mileage on trade in isnt to bad.
