12,500 for both. Automatic or standard it's the same.

Sorry forgot to add that is for the 4.10 rear, if you have the 3.73 you will almost 2K on that. Let us know the rear end.

Rugby3,

Thanks for the info. Is the 4.10 gears 2000 less or more?

Thanks again,

Frank

Talking

The 4.10 would be 2,000 more.
Rugby3 was saying the 3.73 would be 2,000 less.

I don't have a SuperDuty nor have I ever seen any SuperDuty documentation but, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

CarPoint.com indicates that the 5.4 litre engine can pull 12500. Why wouldn't the diesel be more?

Thanks,

Frank

You should pitch that one to Ford and Holiday Inn.

The diesel is that much heavier and you lose it on CGVW ratings.
Taking a guess on this one, maybe I should have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express

You got it right, have to take the weight of the truck into consideration...

Its that dang Holiday Inn again...

total of the truck and trailer together, just like the SB and Long bed deal...
