Question Weird plug, behind drivers headlight?

There is a weird plug that is capped (factory) behind the drivers headlight in my '99 F350 PSD, anyone know what this is for? I was looking for the hookup for fogs, as mine does not have fogs from the factory...??? Any help appreciated.

TT

(don't know how to post a pic, but I have one)

that's your block heater. Plug it in on cold nights and your truck will start right up.

F150s have a plug for a resistor that is part of the DRLs (daytime running lights) in that area. It could be the same for the the Super Duties. Why they decided to put it there, who knows. In US trucks the plug is just capped. A resistor is present in Canadian trucks.
