OEM foglights

Are the OEM foglights plug & play if I don't already have them on my 2000 SD? I noticed the light switch pulls out like my old F150 did in order to turn them on. Or maybe I should just go aftermarket? Any advice is welcome...thanks!

I cannot guarantee you this, but from my experience with these trucks, all the harnesses are there for all options available from the factory. I would put (a little) money on them being there.

If it's like the F150s, the wiring is there, but you may need a different headlight switch. Eventhough it pulls out, the circuitboard might not have the foglight wiring on it. Easiest way to check is find the plugs for the lights near the bumper, turn the headlights on, and check for juice at the wires. If you've got juice, you've got fogs. If not, you probably need the correct switch.

I got my 00 SD's foglights from the Ford Super Duty catalog, the dealer installed them.
