Question 04' F-250 Intakes(K&N, Airaide...)

Has anyone here with a 2004 F-250 replaced the stock intake with an aftermarket filter setup such as K&N or Airaide? I have looked online but do not see anything listed for the 2004's yet. Has anything changed since 02 or 03?

I have an air force one with a micro tuner progammed into my truck. I have a lot more power, but not much more improvement in gas mileage when not towing. The truck runs a lot smoother though. Now I tow a 6500# horse trailer - this is where I see the gas mileage improvement. I bet I am getting at least 4-6 miles per gallon better.

hope this helps

Runnert,

Where did you purchase your "air force one"? And what other mods did you install to get your better mileage towing? Do they make this for the 6L?

I bought my intake and microtuner from Mike Troyer - got his info at this website. I am not sure of the 6L.
