I haven't added or changed anything for my exhaust, but those that do seem to go with the Flowmaster 40 series. The V-10 is a motor that has an odd exhaust note. The V-8's sound better but it ain't enough motor for my longbed crewcab.

heh, on my 83 460c.i. i just hacked the one wussy 2 1/2" pipe at the back of the cab, and damn, thats the most aggressive sounding truck ive ever driven.

good thing it still has enough backpressure to prevent it from burning my valves out, but heres a real suggestion.

if you really want some noise, what i was gonna do on mine was buy an exhaust cutout with electric operation. youd need to be a decent welder to do the work yourself but by the flick of a switch you can go from stock quiet exhaust to a really insane roaring truck in about 1 second.

just make sure you let off the gas or you hit the switch again when you pass a cop
