I have found that for the 99 and up models, the prices are high. The good thing is that means they hold their value, the bad news is, you almost get a better deal buying new. I owe on my truck right now what they are selling 3 and 4 yr old Trucks on ebaymotors just like mine for. and most of the trucks you find on ebaymotors are in texas, anyway. Another thing is people don't buy these things new every couple of years, they usually buy them to keep them, so the pickins are slim for used ones.

500000 if it has been maintained properly...100000 if it hasn't been taken care of...

It depends on how well the truck has been taken care of...

I take extreme care of mine...the trans is weak, but that has to do with the 800ftlbs I am putting through it...

Good Luck...

How can you tell?? I am sorry I am asking such stupid questions but like I said, I am new to diesels.... I just need a crew cab to get me to and from a bunch of races next year. I don't care if it is used as long as it isn't breaking every other drive I will be happy....
