I have a 2000 F250 Super Crew 4X4 Lariat. THe mirrors on the doors are the smaller ones. Does anyone want to trade/sell me the bigger mirrors. Or does anyone know where I can pick up a set (besides FORD)? Thanks...

I don't think you will find anyone here who has them that will part with them. I hate having to drive other vehicles because I have gotten used to having so much of a view with these great big side views.

 

That was the response I expected to get. Not what I had hoped, but expected none the less. I did see them on Ebay for about $200 pr (aftermarket) Do you know if the new heated mirrors for the 03 & 04 models will work with an 00 model? Any links to aftermarket sites would be greatly appreciated. I'm also interested in lifting my 2000 about 2-4 inches. What is the best way to do this without spending a fortune? Thanks...

 

Use the spring brackets and preserve the ride quality...spring packs will also work, but stiffen up the suspension..

 

I just bought a brand new OEM Ford pair of heated power tow mirrors from Ebay for $152.00 shipped. The buy it now price was a mere $145.00. Emailed the seller and asked if they were Japenees versions or Ford and why so cheap. He sited they were Australia(sp) (same as were Ford gets them) and he has sold over 40 sets with no problems, some guys buying more than one. He must have bought a bunch of sets at a good price. The mirrors came in a different package as Fords but have the Ford part numbers on them. The set I got had two plugs and have seen some tow mirrors on ebay with one larger plug.
