Just to clear up any confusion a PTO is not an electrical device it is a small gear driven auxillary transmision that runs of the side of the main trans or transfer case.It will either drive a hydraulic pump to power a device such as a wrecker, dump, trash compactor ect.It can also power a shaft driven mechanical device such as an older non hydraulic wrecker or a mechanical winch. It really serves no purpose on a pickup and the AIC is to increase the working speed of a PTO driven device.

And to add, the PTO option, is just the PTO provisioning. It does not have anything siting there ready to power anything.

And on the AIC, that's one thing it can do, but there are lot's of other reasons people install them. In pickups, most people use them to warm the truck up quicker in cold climates at an RPM that will mitigate wet stacking while doing it.

The electronic shift on the fly option just takes your 4x4 lever off of the floor and replaces it with a **** on the dash. I believe that the manual locking hubs are just a backup in case the electronic system fails. In regards to the power takeoff, unless you want a hydraulic winch on your truck, I wouldn't see why you would need it unless you buy the truck for some sort of commercial use requiring the use of a hydraulic pump.
