2005 SuperDuty, drop rear 2" ?

My dad picked up a 2005 F250 Super duty 4x4 this weekend, we're wondering if anyone sells a drop shackle kit for the rear, the butt sticks up a little too much. He likes how my 01 Screw looks with a 2" drop in the rear...

Thanks all.

A 4x4 F-250 has a 2" block under it (between the spring and axle) you can just take that out.

Why not wait until a leveling kit comes out and lift the front end of the truck to match the back end. Wouldn't you rather lift it a little than drop it, since it is a 4x4?

I too am interested in lowering of both front and rear of the 4x4 F250. I'd like a little more clearance between the cab and my top garage door jamb. I realize this is a more involved than just lowering the rear end, but for some of us, the stock ground clearance is a bit overkill.

Velvet Ride shackles supposedly make the thing ride like a Caddy, but in many applications they also lower the truck as much as 3" based on the way they mount.

Interesting! Thanks for the info. I wonder how much payload capacity must be sacrificed for the lower ride? I will look into this.
