Talking Back-up Lights

Earlier today I finished installing some auxiliary back-up lights on my truck. Having a long bed crew cab with a camper shell and tinted windows, it was just too hard to see properly when backing up at night. I have seen various posts from you guys about different solutions, and finally decided to try something different. Turns out all is well and as soon as it gets dark I can test them out! Click the link in my signature below to see pics...tell me what you think!

As far as the angle goes they are near perfect. I knew if I mounted them in the exact same manner on each side of the bumper that they would have to be close. One light is very slightly higer than the other, which I think is noticeable in one of the pictures. Since these are reverse lights only I was not concerned with having a perfect angle on them.

Wow Truckin4. Nice machine - and not only the backup lights! You got me thinking about lights now. (Looks like you're pretty good at working with steel/sheet metal)

I too installed auxillary back up lamps on my SuperDuty Crew Cab. The stock lights just don't illuminate all that well, especially if dirty, plus it's nice to have light when you're trying to work in the dark where there is no other lighting available.

Looking at your pictures, I can't help but think that I took the easy way out mounting them below the bumper! Nice install on the lamps! (although they don't look too bad under the bumper!)

Looks better than even the factory could have done.. The trick that pull it off is the door guard material to hide the rough edges..

Let me/us know when you have fog lamps integrated in the front.
