Hey man...long time no see....
I buddy of mine had an eight inch lift on his and was running 39inch Mickey Thompsons....Well after sis months he was having problems with it and took it off...He is now running a 4inch lift and 35's and really seems to enjoy more....Man but his truck looked hugh with those 39's...thats the only person i know of personally that has dealt with the 8"+ lifts...

A few manufactures now have an 8inch lift kit available for the Ford Superduty. Has anyone installed a kit of this magnitude yet? I love the height but concerned about the durability of the truck due to the height and pushing 38inch tires around.

Thanks

Hey 4x4!! I'm still here! Thanks for the info. I just got back from the 4wheel offroad Jambo in Bloomsburg PA. SuperDuty Galore!! I took a few digital pics of some of the trucks running 6 and 8 inch lifts and they really did look great. Problem was that many of them were show trucks and did not have to withstand the punishment of light duty towing and everyday driving. Do you have any idea what kind of problems your buddy was experiencing?

No i can't really remember what major problems he was having....i know he said it rode much rougher than his four inch lift and even with a full 8 inches his tire were tearing up the inside of his fender wells and rubbing the springs...i'll catch him here soon and get some more info on it..if you post any of those pics, e-mail me so ican see your home page, i tried a while back and i guess you moved it or something...anyways take it easy
