Question Question about Trailer Tow Package

I am planning on moving a flat deck automobile trailer this weekend for a friend. Will the trailer light circuits be live on my 2000 SuperDuty F-250? It has the factory trailer towing package, with both the 4 pin and 7 pin plugs. The trailer is equipped with electric brakes and a 7 pin plug, but as the trailer will be unloaded and I don't have a brake controller, I had not planned on making use of them. Will this work?

Thanks!

I think so if the fuse()s and relay(s) are installed. They were in the bag with the Brake Controller wiring harness in the glove box.

Thumbs up

Well, it worked! I had lights on the trailer. I think the 250 actually handled better with the trailer...
