Talking 0-60 & 1/4 mile results w/ G-Tech Pro

Well I received my G-Tech Pro (http://gtechpro.com/) unit on Friday and this morning I went out and made a few runs. It's hard to find a flat level road with out heavy trafic here in South East MI, but here are the results:
Run 0-60
1 7.92
2 7.78
3 7.74
4 7.58
5 7.57
Avg. 7.72

1/4 mile sec. @ mph
1 16.00 @ 87.3
2 14.95 @ 99.3
3 15.82 @ 89.4
Avg (w/o run #2) 15.9 @ 88.4

So what do you think?

Wow! Getting your 6000 + pound truck 0 to 60 in 7 and 3/4 seconds is pretty cool! Oh, and what happened on round #2 in the 1/4? Ya have a tail wind??

Cool

V10 Man,

Thanks for the comment. The G-Tech Pro requires that the road be flat and level. I suspect that the strip of road I was on was a little down hill and thus the effect of gravity caused a greater G-force on the accelerometer. Since it was greater than the error margin off of the other two runs I threw it out. Who knows perhaps the other two runs were up hill and it was the only flat run and I have a truck that will do the quarter in under 15 seconds?

Looks like you've got one strong-running V-10 heavy truck, any way you look at it. Let us know if you ever get it to a 1/4 mile track, that would be very interesting to see. Your comments about grades is right on the money, that will of course skew the results quite a bit.

Good luck!
