Can skid plates be installed after market - we found a great price on a truck with everything but the "off road" package - can this be done after market?? Cost?

 

I didn't get the off road pkg on my last truck because I didn't like the larger wheels and the 4x4 sticker. When I ordered the truck, I also ordered the optional skid plates. Usually anything that you can order optional, you can go to Ford and order later on too. So yes, you can add skid plates. If you find them cheaper aftermarket, then go for it.

Don't know the cost, but like Tina said; they can surely be ordered and installed afterwards. BTW, the "larger wheels" only come with the F150's ORP. For a SD, you get skid plates & steering stabilizer... and of course, an "Offroad" sticker on the bed.
