Angry freaking window noise!

I need some help please. I have this damn rattleing noise that appears to be coming from my drives side window of my crew cab. It only occurrs at highway speeds 50+. I can't figure out where the hell it's coming from. It sounds like my window. However, when I press against it I still hear the sound. The door gaskets appear to be intact. I can't find anything loose. Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem?

Other than that damn thing, the truck is awsome. Love it. Boy's love. Even the wife is starting to like it.

I beleive the problem is in the plastic flaps between the front and back doors. I put silicon caulking underneath the flaps (they're just held by little plastic brads and are very loose) and I don't think I have that problem anymore, at least I don't notice it.

Joe,

Mine did the same, above 60 or in a high wind. I found it to be the front door seam seal on the rear door. It was a little loose. I pointed it out to the dealer and he seemed sceptical that it was loose enough to be a problem. But he ordered a new one and I've not driven it enough, but I think it's fixed.

Joe... What kind of mirrors do you have? I have an Excursion with the towing mirrors and I'm getting the same thing. No solutions yet....

14u2nv,

I have the towing mirrors as well.

I tried what B&Tman suggested. It worked quite well. However, I need to apply a little more. I detect a little rattle here and there every now and then. But, nothing like it used to be.

Joe

now tell me, what's 2nv? Do you have any photos of that Excursion of yours?

I believe the call sign means "One for you to envy". I could be wrong though. Pretty clever.
