My boss has a 2000 7.3 diesel, it gets driven three miles to work and three miles back every day. and a couple times a day it gets driven 1/2 mile or less. Now when its started it wont run untill its warmed up for 3 or 4 minuts and it seams as the injectors are dirty. I said I thought it was the way he used the truck but he disagrees, what do you guys think?

 

i think you need to change the fuel filter and a little highway time is needed to clean things out...make sure you put some diesel fuel conditioner in it and fill it up!! now hit the road ...zap!
