mpg reading and factory 20's

I have a 2006 F250 Diesel with the optional factory 20" wheel and tire combo. I have noticed that on my first couple of tanks of fuel, the mpg reading on the dash is 2 mpg higher than when I calculate the mileage myself. My question is, does the factory set your odometer calibration on each truck to the tire/wheel package that is ordered on the truck or are all the trucks set to the same calibration no matter what tire/wheel combo is ordered.

The dash readout is just an average since the last time it was reset. Got a real laugh the other night. Wife had me run to the store (I look for any reason to drive it), was coasting down a slight grad about 30MPH. Hit the reset and damn -- I wuz getting 52 MPG. Now, if I could just keep it there all the time, I would be the happiest camper on the planet.

The factory display isn't very accurate.

Hopefully mine will do the same. I drive the truck so little, that it will take a while for it to happen. Thanks for the replies everyone.
