I'd say it's for the looks, especially on a diesel. A exhaust will get you lots of power, even more so after you do more mods. And if you want the most power, go with a turbo back.

Great thanks for the feed back, will the exhaust help it with responce? Seems to be a bit choled up to me.

On a side note, the first trip was taken this weekend. I got about 17 mpg with cruise and going ruffly 263 miles. So that is not to hateful. I can hope for more with the exhaust done, atleast I think.

Is that MPG what the computer said you got or what you figured the mileage to be? And yes the exhaust will help.

yeah that was with me doing the miles against the gallons at time of fill up.

if you want your truck to run good go with a banks kit, itll have everything you need, everyone i know who has used bank kits on their SDs have loved em, & they run really good too. just my .02
