1999 7.3 F-250 Programmer question

So I have a 1999 F-250 7.3 with a 4" turbo back exhaust. I wanted to know what would be the best intake and programmer to get with this set up.

Thanks,
Rick

Best intake is a DIY with a Green filter or a PG7 media from AFE. There is no reason to buy a $400 intake for a 7.3L when the same thing can be made for less than $100. Cost may fluctuate some depending on if you have an early or a late 99.

Skip the programmer completely. Instead go to www.dp-tuner.com and give Jody a call. He will set you up with what you need. If you have an automatic I suggest a PMT1 PCM to go with it. The trans shifts are very nice.

I agree with the DP-Tuner chip comment, as well as the DIY "Tymar style" intake. IMO I do not like washable/oiled filter media on a turbodiesel. I prefer the dry Donaldson filter like is used by Tymar.
