OK, I was wondering because I looked thru out the midwest and didn't find anything in the Lariat. I did find a couple XLT's. Sticker at $42k, it must be loaded up pretty good. Good luck with the haggling.

When I started looking for my 250 to replace my 04 F150, I originally wanted to look at both V10 and Diesel, but was told by at least 5 dealers that the V10 trade values are horrible as opposed to the Diesel, probably depends alot on region you're in, but in TX a V10 is rare, most every Super Duty I've seen is a Diesel...to me it was worth the upfront cost and I have been very happy to have gone with the Diesel.

Well the dealer who I have bought most of my vehicles from in the last 20 years is being quite difficult on my trade (in my opinion of course). It is a 2006 F-150 FX4 Super Crew, loaded up (original sticker was $40,000) when I bought 8 months ago. They will not go any higher than $22,000, oh did I mention that is has a whopping 4,887 miles on it. Maybe I am way of base, but there is no way I am giving up my truck for that amount.

Diesels do hold their value MUCH better.

That's bad. My dealer offereed me $18,900 for my '03 KR, and that was after a $4500 discount off the sticker price. I thought that was pretty decent.
