Question diesel programer help!!!!

ok so heres the deal my dads 05 F-350 has a banks 6 Gun and it sucks the tranny shifts horrible and its already stretched the head bolts once, so my question is would custom tuning be a better way to go about getting some more power? if so who should he get to tune it?

I can't help with the 6.0, but these guys know the tunin' stuff.

stretched the head bolts once
hindsight tells me he shoulda put in headstuds the first time if running a tuner. then play away worry free (well as worry free as any other 6.0 owner anyways)

SCT is the way to go, the livewire should be available anytime too which looks to be an all in one SCT with a monitor, a couple reputable tuners are Innovative Diesel and Elite Diesel. These two seem to have a lot of great reviews on other sites.
