MX6 Shocks

Anyone out there put Pro Comps MX6 shocks on the Super Duty? I installed them last night and have not driven the truck to try it out. I put the control setting in the middle setting to see how it rides.

I went off road with the new shocks and I had to increase the stiffness and it made a big difference. I am impressed with the shocks.

Shocks

I just installed dual front mx6r and single rear mx6r. I have them set on the lowest setting. The ride is pretty stiff but that is mostly due to the new 6.5" lift(all spring)

You will not bounce all over the place. I did it with my old shocks and my wife had to hold on to the seat belt. But with the new shocks no problem! Very smooth much better than stock shocks.

Do the adjustments on the shocks actually work and/or make a noticeable difference between the settings?? Thinking about getting these so I can stif-en them up when towing the trailer.

I set the shocks to the middle setting. When I put it as low as I could set them the truck was too soft and my wife did not like it. So I increased it and you can feel the difference.Very Pleased with the ride!

I had these recently installed, last week. When I picked up the truck the shocks were at the softest setting. It was too soft for my liking so I put them at the middle setting. What a huge difference. So yes, the adjustment works and you can tell a difference.

Cool...thanks for the feedback. Did you get the regular MX6 or did you get the R?? They have a standard MX6 for the front of mine and one of the universal MX6R's that will fit the rear...leaning towards doing this. Other than the adjustment really making a difference, do you like the shock overall?? Pro-Comp guy told me they should be good for 50-60k miles.

I got the mx6 (regular, no res.) all around. They look nice, ride nice once dialed in to your liking. I just traded in my 04 f150 with 80k on them and they still had plenty of life. I went off road all the time, granted not severe racing type off road. Now I upgraded to a 08 250 because I need the extra pulling capacity for a trailer.
