Tire Load Rating

I have a 07 F350 regular cab with the 11000 lb GVW package and am looking to get more agressive and larger tires. Problem is that most of these such tires do not have the E load rating the stock tires do. Is it dangerous to run a D or C rated tire on this truck?

Don't run a C range tire on the truck. If you do run a D range tire be very aware of your weight as you can overload them. This mainly comes into play when towing. If you go over the weight limit of the tires and you have an accident you could be held liable, as in your ins will drop you like a hot potato. Myself I wouldn't chance it, and run an E range tire, but I like to tow with mine. I did tow once with a set of D range tires and it felt WAY too squishy for me. Wouldn't give up my E range tires for anything.
