2008 6.4 60,000 mile warranty

Why does the new 2008 Powerstroke only have a 60,000 mile powertrain warranty when the older diesels 6.0 and 7.3 have a 100,000 mile warranty? Whats the difference in quality that Ford wont give us a 100k warranty especially being a diesel? Also i noticed that Dodge and GMC both have 100k warranties on their diesels.

I'm reading in the sales brochure that the diesel comes with a 5 year/100K warranty on select engine components.

First step to ditch Navistar!

I'll bet it's because it's Fords first step to ditch Navistar after they get their own in-house Diesel out! Less warrantee means less Navistar diesels to service in the future!..........
