Angry Cruise on 2005 Ford Super Duty, deisel truck 6.0

Does anyone have suggestions on how I may go about checking why my cruise control does not work. The problem is it will not even come on when I push the on button. Thanks

Check the fuse. Just a simple one to try.

The "On" button only applies power to the cruise control. To actually activate it you have to press the "Set/Accel". After that's done then you can "Decel"erate or "Res"ume.

Or am I being presumptious cause you only mentioned turning it on?

Problems with the cruise control function could indicate a problem with the switch - Dont wait for the recall to be extended to your truck - disconnect it - !!
