1999 7.3L Need to know if good deal?
A local Dealer has a 1999 F-250 Reg Cab 4x4 off road, with 149,000 miles. Body is in excellent shape and so is interior. Has XLT package and auto tranny. They are asking $14,985. I havent talked to them yet about it but just curious what kind of deal this is with that many miles? Also are there things that I need to look for that have been or need to be replaced? Thanks!

Too high. I paid high $13's (under trade in value
) for a F-250 4x4 ext cab long bed Lariat clone with 95K on it. That transmission with 150K on it is probably about to go. Drive it and gun it getting on the highway, don't let off until it shifts into OD at about 70 mph. Betcha it'll CLUNK into gear. I'd give em $11K for it. The motor still has many years left in it...
