Is the Bed Extender on the '08 SuperDuty removable?

Yes. You just have to unbolt it from the side by the tailgate. You dont have one you would like to sell do you?

Looking at tonneau that fold up and find that the extender will interfere with them unless modified or removed-had not planned on selling it once the truck is delivered however

Not having seen one in person, but have plenty of tonneau covers. If the bed extender is lower than the side rails and doesn't mount to the side rails, I don't quite understand how it would interfer with the folding cover.

Im looking at this tonneau

the company says the rails and catches
will interfere with their cover
(the tailgate step is uneffected)
my supercrew has an extender that is
easily removable so i was hoping
the 08 250's would be the same

I like the look and functionality of that cover, the only downside is that its not very weather proof. It does look like a quality accessory!! I have a hard tonnue ( or however you spell it) on my f150, it looks great, weather proof, but as everybody knows its a biotch when it comes to convienience.

thats really nice. May have to look into that peragon cover for my truck, price doesnt seem to bad either..
