Really Dumb Q about rear seat.

Gentlemen, i need your help. A man needs his action, and it requires one thing. And I feel retarded to have to ask this, cause i've not had to do it yet. I'd like to know before the end of the day monday so that I can fold go "car-camping" with my girlfriend on tuesday.

OK, so I've owned my 1999 Ford F-250 V10 Extended Cab for almost three years now, and i could not figure out for the life of me how to get the top part of the seat to fold down!!!! I can get the seat cushion at the bottom to flip all the way forward, but i know that the lower part of the seat rest is supposed to fold down and fit into the spot where the seatcushion was, but i cannot figure out how to get it to release! I've tugged on it hard, but i feel like i'm gonna break it or something... any help would be amazing!

So i'll be in debt to whoever can let me know.

Dan

Back seats in extended cabs are too small. Stick to the front seat if you've got a bench, or use the bed of the truck. Not that I'd know anything about this...

Solution!

I FIGURED IT OUT! but your right, the back seat area is still pretty small. There was this tiny little string dangling down (on the driver's side) that i thought was just part of the seat that was broken, i tugged on it, and whala! the seat-back released and down came the back!

I thought about that though, using the 'bed' of the truck... but you gotta have some serious padding, cause mine is just bare metal, with strutts for the 5th wheel hitch... really uncomfortable. I'll figure out something!

Thanks guys
