I thought the DPF on those new SD's were not able to come off or else your engine wouldn't run right...?

I mean, I could be totally off the ball here... but from what ever I've read, it says that the DPF has sensors and such that tell the engine how it is burning the fuel.

But again, I have NO experience in it... and for your sake, I do not recommend removing it.

I have heard the same but also have no experience, when I was browsing around at the 08s the salesman actually told me that removing the DPF would eventually burn up the motor. I could be wrong also.

That was true... But like always, the awesome guys who do custom computer tunes discovered how to "unprogram" the DPF. It's an "off road only" tune, but whatever...

So I'm guessing that no one has done it around here yet?

On this site, no. On the diesel sites, yes.
