Hey guys, does anyone know if they are making the new superduties in a sport package with painted mirrors and bumpers, etc... I seen a silver and dsg truck that looked awesome, but I didn't know if he had work done to it.


Also if they are making one and have a picture, post it.

FX4's come with painted bumpers, grilles, etc. No chrome.



And come on by sometime. You see what I did to my bumper?

 

I knew that they offered a non chrome option. I have a bet with the guy at the local dealership. I asked why they only ordered the new 08's with chrome bumpers, etc.. He said that they didn't make a sport. I guess there is sufficient evidence to prove him wrong now.


By bumper, do you mean the nice dent in it. LOL. I actually was leaving school a week or two ago, on a Sunday I believe, and you were outside polishing your truck on the side of your frat house. I was going to stop back by after fueling the truck, but you already parked back in your lot and was done.

Yeah that was when I first got my buffer. Still need to finish buffing it. Thinking I'll get to it tomorrow.

 

Cool, I'll have to check out the buffer. I have been thinking about getting one for a while now. You could probably show me tricks to detailing.

Yes, there is an xlt sport package avaliable, I saw one in person and a few on ebay.

 

I believe its only in the XLT that offers the Sport Package, where the big standard chrome grill and bumpers painted to match the body. FX4 gives you a different style grill painted to match the body with the bumpers painted to match the under tone paint.

 

Man if you see this truck again get some pics. This is the color combo that I am leaning towards. I haven't seen one yet though.

 

there is a cabelas that just opened up about an hour from where i live and i went today, and inside they had a silver/dsg 08 sitting there and i loved the colors!

 

If I see one again I'll snap a pic. The last one I seen was at a dealership 100 miles away though. Let me tell you, it would be my first choice in color combos, if I were to buy a new 08 SD. I'll be in another town this weekend, I'll stop by some dealerships to see what they have.

There's a white F-250 ext cab short bed with white bumpers, mirrors, and grill running around Rolla.

 

There is also a "Sport" edition that looks just like the FX4 but its a 2wd....painted mirrors and bumpers.

 

I nearly picked up a XLT Sport, which had color matched bumpers and front facia. It did not have fender flares, and did not have the power telescoping/folding mirrors option. The FX4 fit what I wanted alot more, so that is what I ordered, but the XLT Sport looks sweet. I plan to paint my bumpers and get some new fender flares so I can get that monochromatic paint look.

 

You can get it in a 4x4!
