Maybe the bedliner is to help the tailgate stay together?

Very gaudy looking truck, no thanks.

What the heck is it with those seats?!

They look like they came from some EMO kid off the street... Not to mention the gauge cluster looks like it's from some Fisher Price kid car. Also what is it with all of the warning lights in the gauge cluster... like duh, use a LCD display rather than a whole bunch of LED driven lights to signal items. I also don't like that stick shift... I mean I LOVE stick vehicles, but that one is GROSS. It looks like a guy's erect ***** coming out of the console... sorry if that offends anyone... but that was the first thing that came to my mind being it a tan leather shifter... so if I can come up with something like that then it must be pretty bad.

But yes, it is a gaudy looking truck... the interior looks gross, that stick needs to be shortened, by a lot, and those seats... I think I'll pass.

I agree, very gaudy interior.

But you would think that as a concept vehicle they would have found a way to make the diamond plate wheel tubs fit without gaps against the inside diamond plate bed rail. That really looks poorly done

Hahahahahah...on my, I'm sick to my tummy with laughter. Manual F150 - my wife absolutely agrees with you regarding the stick shifter. It's toooo funny!!!!
and yes, the gaps with the diamond plate is amateur - they should've at least welded it.

Still, it's the best Japanese dually I've ever seen besides the Mitsubishi Fuso trucks that abound! Hahahahahah...

Y'all are great!!!!!

wow,how did they ever get 300 hp and 600 lb-ft out of an 8.0,and all that power through a 5 speed manual. that'd be a sweet truck,if it was 1984!!! toyota just needs to give up if that's the best they can do. you can get that kind of power from a diesel half that size, and a 5 speed manual, wtf?

I wouldn't buy it, but I don't think it looks that bad...I bet the Toyota team started working on that before Toyota changed their minds about making a diesel due to quality issues.

I agree...what the hell is up with that power rating. An 8.0 litre turbo diesel should easily be just above 400hp/800lb-ft.

I think that the fact that "the tach goes red at only 2,600 rpm" may have something to do with that low power rating.
