Radio Wiring Harness

Does anyone know if there is an "illumination" or "dimmer" lead in the stock 2002 F-350 harness? I had a new AVIC N4 installed yesterday but it shows that the illumination signal was not present when the lights were on and the shop is very skilled at installations. Since it's Sunday they are closed and I wanted to see if they just connected to the wrong wire or what...

Interesting. I called Crutchfield to see if they knew if there was an illumination lead, and they said there is one. I don't know how to remove the new deck to look. It has the aftermarket adapter in it.

Yes, there is one. How do you think the factory unit dims when you turn the lights on?
