WELL, that depends... f250, f350 or f450 super duty? What motor, what size cab and bed? what trim level (xlt, lariat, xl, etc)? I can log into fmcdealer and check a similar one for you.

X-plan gave me about 5,000 off my F250. Dropped the price from $48k to $43k. It really depends on the invoice price of the truck. It's usually pretty close to 10% off the MSRP.

It depends on everything you want in the truck... cab size especially. But the biggest factor is how much you are spending, the higher the sticker the more room there is for discounts, like freekyfx4 said. When you price out a lower end truck its only like 1-3 thousand under invoice.

Give me some specs and I'll get you a REALLY close price. Like I said I have access to fords dealer website.

2008 250 sd V10 lariat off road = 47130 MSRP 43451 invoice and 43352 Xplan, dplan = 41706.

thus, xplan is 3778 off MSRP and $99 under invoice.

plus a 2000 rebate going on now. meaning you pay 43352-2000 = 41352 for a 47130 truck.

D plan = dealer employee pricing, employees of ford only get this; like my dad who is a service manager, or a new car salesman, or mechanics @ dealers, etc...

Looks like 3-7% below MSRP for the base models but the mark up on accessories is about 13% so the more you put on the bigger the discount in total dollars.
Back in 2005 I bought my F250 King Ranch loaded for 6000 below MSRP on the X-Plan

Cool

Check out:

http://www.burdford.com

They have the only dealership website I have ever seen that shows A,Z, and X Plan pricing.

You can't really build your own vehicle, but you can search their inventory and look at something similar to what you are searching for. Once you are viewing the vehicle, click the link that says A/Z Plan pricing and a popup explaining what those prices mean will appear...while the screen behind it refreshes. Check out the new screen and it should have the price difference for the A/Z Plan.

Of course, I am not vouching for the validity of those posted prices, nor am I trying to promote Burd Ford, but I have no personal reason to suspect their website is inaccurate.

Later,
Mike

What about a pretty well equipped 2008 F250 King Ranch 4x4? (Sticker is $54,400) I would like to know what I am looking at before I go walking in the place

Thanks!
