I put my Dakota away at the end of October... I need to get around to starting it up... maybe I'll do that this week. I usually idle it for about 20 minutes and then turn it off... just enough to get it hot and to charge the battery a bit. I usually start it once a month... but this has been the longest I've really let it go.

My trucks sits weeks at a time. My truck only has 14500 miles on it. I got most of my miles in the summer camping trips. I was permanent at a campground in 2005,2006. it was 100 miles round trip. My girlfriend and I switched every other weekend. We camped every weekend then. But if we go somewhere we take my truck. I'm not a car person She has Chrysler sebring LXI coupe. I enjoy driving my truck and showing off

FY'alls I: My V10 does fine when sittin' for two~three weeks at a time. Sometimes the clutch motor in the A/C will make a little noise right when it starts up, but I have heard this on other rigs and it's not a problem as it only happens here and there. It only does it right when the key is turned - a split second. Truck has 22K miles and it has done it since day one...
Happy truckin' (when you drive it at least)
