Hmm... It involves a dremel so I dunno if it'd feel good or not...

K&N filters will literally kill a 7.3 over time, especially the trucks with the flat type filter. The Ford intake which used the flat filter was a horrible design. The filter will flex upwards in the air cleaner housing allowing dirt to bypass the filter at the edges. The K&N being a high flow filter just allows even more dirt to pass thru. The Ford AIS filter kit is the best for filtration on the 7.3 trucks. As for air flow, unless the truck is very modified, I don't think anyone would be able to tell any difference. I know several folks who have done the Zoodad mod and they all tell me they can't see any advantage to it.
