Tows the 40 ft fifth wheel doing 80mph going over any grade while fully loded no problem. Brother has a 2003 Dodge 2500 modded and runs circle around anything adn everything while getting 22mpg. As far as working on the truck for something breaking has been zero hours. My dads truck has 18,000 miles and runs stronger then every. Brothers truck has 187,000 miles and keeps on ticking. As long as you do proper maintance they will last. I do like the fords just the earlier ones with the 7.3L or the 2005-2007 ones with the 6.0. Dodges love them all just like chevys. I am not baised or anything. Would rather drive any of the big three then anything else.

Get the grey bumpers... you won't regret it... especially if you really plan to beat the truck up in the back woods.
